Book Review: Percy Jackon, The Lightning Thief

Summary:Twelve-year-old Percy Jackson learns he is a demigod, the son of a mortal woman and Poseidon, god of the sea. His mother sends him to a summer camp for demigods where he and his new friends set out on a quest to prevent a war between the gods. Ever since Zeus, king of gods, found out that his master lightning bolt was missing he got really mad and accused Percy of stealing it. He gives Percy a week to find it or Percy will be punished. So that's the quest given to the young Percy Jackson and his friends.

My Rating: Honestly, I loved the book. I though it was magnificient and spectacular. I would give this book a ten star rating of ten stars. The book is filled with a twisting but fun adventure and the storyline is just perfect. This is one of the best books I ever read!

I read the book, and if I understood correctly(which I did), he wasn't going to punish Percy. He was just going to start a war between the gods which would make the other gods choose sides and make massive hurricanes and earthquakes on the mortals.
