This is the beta map maker we will be using. Please note people that already tested this need to redownload it because I added the bullet tileset to it d:
This is based off the Pawn Tactics map editor. I still have things to change like the maps save as "Pawn Tactics Maps" files so yea. You can still use this to map maps meanwhile.
You HAVE to extract this file before you can use it or else it won't work.
When you start it go File>New
*****IMPORTANT***** Settings:
Width: 40 Height: 30
See all those messy numbers? To get them off go to View>Toggle Tile View
The tileset is on the bottom, you may have to drag it up to see the tiles.
Making Tiles
Just click on the tile and you can place it on the map. You can drag it across to make multiple tiles.
***NOTE*** I have had to split the tiles up into 16x16 blocks because of how this map maker works. So you need to combine the tiles to create a whole one. It's very simple. We also have a way so you don't have to do that every time. Just simply hold down the right mouse button to highlight the object and it works as a copy/paste thing. You'll see when you try it.
