Black ops noobs

First topic message reminder :

this is my opinion and can be supported when ever asked.

You ARE a Noob if you use the fallowing weapons or perks in call of duty Black ops;

Ak74U
Rapidfire (Alone or with any attatchments. This is extremely overused and extremely overpowered)

Famas (any attatchment, this weapon is over used and over powered)

LAST STAND (Second chance)
This is total BS and is a total pain in the ass.

Flack Jacket
Im pretty sure when you stick someone with either semtex or C4 and kill them, a little car PACKED with explosives that is lower then waste level should be able to drive up to you, with exposed legs let me re-mined you, and kill them. But No.

This isnt that big of a problem, But the fact that supressors reduce recoil....makes no sense.

Rofl you sound like an idiot sorry. You obviously have no idea of the concept that is "op". Just because it was put into the game by whomever created it does not mean its completely fair or balanced. I don't use my mic cuz of all the fags on CoD, but I find myself really pissed when i get my ass kicked by someone who hits me with one shot and kills me with an op gun. What hes saying is that people who use op weapons are showing no skill. People who rely on weapons that take no skill are fucking idiots people who use ballistic knife and guns that aren't 1 shot kills, full auto are good because they are atleast showing some sort of skill.

Its like a soccer team who wins the world cup b/c they are on roids and the fair=playing teams complain. By your logic, you're saying that people who choose to play fairly in something that is challenging are stupid for not cheating.

I use Galil or Commando and I CAN and HAVE beat an entire team using AK74u and Famas. If you know the locations of the spawn points, good routes, good defence areas, and chokepoints then you are good to go, no matter what gun the enemy uses. I would rather face a n00bshit player using the AK74u ANYDAY rather than face an experienced player using only the Skorpian. Why? Because it's the skill of the player that matters, NOT THE GUN! I can name SEVERAL guns that either shoot faster or are stronger than either the AK74u or the Famas.

Sniper rifles are the only guns that are one shot kill, in your logic they're noobs. AK74u? Not 1-shot kill, not even a headshot. Famas? Not 1-shot kill, not even a headshot. If you have ever played Black Ops you would know that all weapon's damage has been reduced from MW2 standards. Also, you are saying that knifers are pro. How is running around with a ballistic knife knifing people more pro than using an "OP" gun (for argument's sake)?

Skill is your ability to maneuveur and hit enemies. If you want to do good consistently against players of all kinds, you NEED TO PLAY STRATEGICALLY. This might sound wierd in CoD, but if you just rush and run n' gun, you probably won't do as good as someone who has a well planned out strategy and knows the map inside and out. Flanking, peeking around corners, and "camping / blocking" (expression) the enemy spawn will guarantee you loads of kills and success against any gun you are facing.

This was too easy. Next time, leave less holes in your argument.

Also don't use argument "I suck so I'm better than you"

However, some guns require MUCH less skill because they deal so much dmg and have such a high fire rate. obvious reason you beat this team was because they had no skill and were using op guns. You have tremendous skill and you were using a completely fair gun.

You guys can't seem to get your mind wrapped around the idea that some guns are factually more powerful than others. DM vs. AUG... who will win? Death machine most likely because it is a more powerful weapon. If the AUG player has a tremendous amount of skill, he could beat a noob with a DM easy. But if the DM guy has even a slight amount of knowledge of the game and skill, he would have the upper hand. Its not that complicated.

Noob w/ op gun VS. average skill, balanced gun, noob wins
noob w/ op gun VS. Pro, the pro has a good chance to win
Avergae player w/ op gun VS. just about anyone with a balanced weapon, avergae player wins only because of his weapon, not his skil level.

Your second point, ever watched the kill cam? I often watch the killcam when I die in half a second. No blood appears on the screen, I just die and hear the sound of a silenced ak47u. I watch the killcam and the guy will hit me with about 3 shots (tap r1 once) and I die instantly. I called it a one shot kill because its AN AUTO GUN WITH RAPID FIRE THAT IS OP.

also in your second para, have you ever tried to hit an enemy with a ballistic knife while they sprint? Nearly impossible. its easier on PC though
These guys make it look easy, although its on pc.

I encourage you to try to play a game using ONLY ballistic knife. you'll begin to see how much precision and skill it takes. MUCH harder than shooting a gun.

I agree with your 3rd statement, there is some strategy in CoD, but camping is for noobs

I'm just gunna ignore gr33n because he is terribad and stating facts to support his arguement. I respect you for giving me insight on your opinion.

The ballistics knife is by far my favorite. I personally don't use the FAMAS. And yea, the guns are overpowered. I believe we've all agreed some guns are better than others. But using them doesn't mean your bad at te game, or a noob. That's about the equivalent of saying that since I use the ballistics knife, I'm a pro. And trust me, I suck.

And yeah, it's a video game. It's supposed to take skill to play. Even though black ops and CoD in general isn't as hardcore as people say, it does take some skill.

Death machine is a killstreak. Compare it to the chopper gunner, or the valkyrie missiles, rather than the AUG. Besides, a well timed frag can easily take out a guy with a DM because you can't move fast with one.

Rapid Fire doesn't automatically make a gun OP. Remember MW2? When you think about OP and unbalance in that game, you don't think about rapid fire. You think about Commando Pro and Noob Tubing.

Perhaps Ak74u or Famas give you a slight edge, but distance matters too. SMG is good at close range, at long, they are WEAK and INACCURATE, making the AK74 terribad at long range. Sniper rifles are meant for long range. You might get in a few nice kills close range with a sniper, but you won't be doing good consistently with it. Know your guns. Assault rifles are somewhere in the middle.

However, I do agree wiht you last point. It is extremely hard to hit a sprinting enemy by shooting a ballistic knife. I don't know if it's easier on the PC though...I torrented BO so I can play it on the PC and still find it quite hard.

I can see what your saying but range doesnt matter inless its a shoty.

If you quickly tap the fire button it is pretty accurate even at long range. I even tried this with the Scorpion, the smg with the least amount of range.

Range matters. It's not accuracy I'm talking about. It's power. SMG's are WEAKER in long range. Say 3 bullets kill a guy right beside you. If he's on the other side of the map, it'll take 5 or 6.

yeah but accuracy and recoil should be increased for ALL guns.
