| Guess you could use this to discuss world news and the sorts. Japan Earthquake + Tsunamis= between March 10 and 11 of 2011(I think)Simply horrendus; my condolences to all who have perished and their family in the Japan tsunamis of March 11 in consequence of earlier earthquakes. Hundreds are believed to be dead and missing with more to come. Western Canada + Hawaii with tsunami warnings. (edit)Apparently it's the 7th strongest earthquake in recorded history. I'm glad I live in Kansas, the only things that happen are tornados. Maybe some flooding, but nothing to disastrous. | |

In this case, beside the same ocean of the Japan March 11/11 incident. Also, the only 'disaster' we might get here is only heavy blizzards and snowstorms. I can live with that.

| We get freaking everything here in Ohio. We had a hurricane two years ago. IN OHIO. But it wasn't near as bad as the tsunami. God bless all who are suffering. | |

| Well since you guys are all talking about your disasters. I'll talk mine In 1987 on July 31. There was a tornado in my city resulting in 558million CAD$ damages. Hence that day, we named it Black Friday. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edmonton_Tornado- Spoiler:
-courtesy HFOilers poster Jimmi JenkinsPicture above^ shows the wave heights of tsunamis currently. Oh fuck...Hope there won't be any further losses of life. Short video from CBS regarding California flooding/tsunami: http://robotceleb.com/news/217033-03112011-california-tsunami-live-video-footage.htmlOil refinery now on fire and radioactive vapour released to cool down the radioactive plantations. On a personal note: that just shows how desperate and serious things are down there in Japan. Thousands feared dead. More pictures -courtesy HFOilers poster NoLocusPresident Obama sent tons of troops and equipment to help with the rescue process- good for him. Rumor is that the US sent coolant to Japan for the nuclear reactors. Nearly 11thousand Canadians in Japan-according to CBC. Live streaming from CBCHope you guys don't mind if I keep the editing because of updates and things I think interesting. If you do mind, just tell me that you do mind through chat or pm or whatever. I might have to go soon so yeah. Also I'm sorry if eveything is a little-messy.

| News update: Radiation levels, according to CBC, are 1000 times the normal levels in the (edit) plant forcing more evacuation of the area.
