The one problem I have with this. though, is that Obama seems to be taking all the credit.

Oh yeah, my other problem is everyone celebrating. Sure, it's nice that he's dead, but we don't have to be assholes about it.

Osama bin Laden killed thousands of Muslims. All we really have to fear is Al-Quiada. And we don't really have much to be scared of there either...

Yeah we just made him into a martyr. Whatever, the soldier who shot him in the face is probably being praised like he was the guy that shot Hitler.

No we do have to be assholes about it.
Total dicks have to be assholed on.
They used a human shield. If you aren't a dick to a person who does that then I don't know what you should be a dick to.
Also, it was so hardcore how Obama& Friends planned this out.

On May 1, 2011, in Washington, D.C. (May 2, Pakistan Standard Time), U.S. President Barack Obama announced that Osama bin Laden was killed by "a small team of Americans" acting under Obama's direct orders, in a covert operation in Abbottabad, Pakistan, about 50 km (31 mi) north of Islamabad. It had been believed by some that he was hiding near the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Areas, but was actually in a million-dollar, three-story mansion in Abbottabad. at 00 34°10′9″N 73°14′33″E / 34.16917°N 73.2425°E / 34.16917; 73.2425, 21⁄2 miles (4 km) northeast of the center of Abbottabad and 3⁄4 of a mile (1.3 km) southwest of the Pakistan Military Academy (Pakistan's "West Point"). Abbottabad is actually about 100 miles from the Afghanistan border (where the majority of searches took place). It is on the far eastern side of Pakistan (only about 20 miles from India). Google Earth maps show that the compound was not present in 2001, but was present on images taken in 2005.
According to U.S. officials, a team of 20–25 U.S. Navy SEALs from the Naval Special Warfare Development Group (SEAL Team Six), under the command of the Joint Special Operations Command and working with the CIA stormed bin Laden's compound in two helicopters. Bin Laden, three other men, and a woman were killed in a firefight in which U.S. forces did not experience any injuries or casualties. In his broadcast announcement President Obama said that U.S. forces "took care to avoid civilian casualties." Among the others killed were one of bin Laden's sons, a man described as a courier, and the courier's brother. Four years of surveillance of the courier lead to the intelligence which made the raid possible. It was reported that the courier was the owner of the compound where the assault took place. John Brennan, the White House anti-terrorism chief, said that the woman that was killed was one of bin Laden's four wives and was being used as a human shield at the time. Two other women, who were also used as shields, were injured during the raid. According to one U.S. official the attack was carried out without the knowledge or consent of Pakistani authorities. In contrast, agents of the Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence agency (ISI) said it was a joint operation.
DNA from bin Laden's body, compared with DNA samples on record from his dead sister's brain confirmed bin Laden's identity the following day, according to assertions to ABC News by unnamed sources. The body was recovered by the U.S. military, and was in its custody until his body was buried in the North Arabian Sea from the USS Carl Vinson according to Islamic traditions. One U.S. official stated that "finding a country willing to accept the remains of the world's most wanted terrorist would have been difficult." MSNBC reported "There also was speculation about worry that a grave site could have become a rallying point for militants."
The U.S. State Department issued a "Worldwide caution" for Americans following Bin Laden's death, and U.S diplomatic facilities everywhere were placed on high alert, a senior U.S official said. Crowds gathered outside the White House and in New York City's Times Square to celebrate Bin Laden's death. In Pakistan, some people were shocked at those reports that said that the mission was not authorized by Pakistan.

You do know everyone waits for the News because Wiki can be edited by anyone.
Thus, making it an unreliable source.

Wools also get moderated within twenty four hours, making it highly unlikely anything is messed up. And he had a guy with him who was supposed to kill him, so yeah.

Well, if he's a martyr, he's a pretty cowardly one at that. Check out this statement from the ABC:
"Osama bin Laden had vowed to go down fighting, but in his last moments alive, when cornered by elite U.S. troops, the master terrorist hid behind one of his wives, White House counterterrorism chief John Brennan said Monday."
We deserve to celebrate, but not so we can say nationalistic stuff like, "We're #1! America's the best! No one can defeat us." It's one thing to be glad we killed a monster; it's another thing to flaunt it. We have to keep a sharp eye out for vengeful attacks; Saudi Arabia loved bin Laden, and we have to watch out for Yemen avengers. No doubt we're gonna see some pretty scary attacks. But we've probably learned a tough lesson from 9/11.
So, in the end, let's just be happy the worst person alive is dead, and leave it at that.

America and Britan have to be on our toes cause now that Bin ladden is out, one of his fallowers is coming to power. then our asses are going to be right back over there fighting yet another religious war that we should have never stuck our knose's in, in the first place. yes there was 9/11 but we could have made our point alot sooner and more effectively. if Bush didnt bring troops into Kuwait and saudi in the 90's, 9/11 wouldnt have happend.

Religious war Its a war against Al-Qaeda. Which is a gang.
Yes he is Muslim but it is not a religious war else we would need to be a specific religion ourselves. The U.S is a free country thus no official religion.
Also, religious wars= Crusades.

I know its A war on terrorism for the United states, but over in the middle east, its always been a religious war. The have been fighting against them sleves for thousands of years. Bush was just an idiot and got involved in the "90's and they remembered that.
Thats my stand on the whole "Religious War" Personally our fight is against terrorism. We're just caught in the middle.
