Website Design

Yet another one of my bold projects...

Anyway, I've been working on this site called Energium Live (working title) for quite some time now, and have a dire question for all of you. I've been using a lot of free website builders out there and need your assistance (yes, I know a forum is another option-and yes, I've made a--failed--forum).

So, my biggest creation tool is a site called Wix. It can do some over-the-top tools that can push my site even further.

Here's a site that's still in Beta. No videos or pictures just yet. Still need to work out some links, HTML, etc. Also, to play our temporary game, go to Games, click on the image at the top of the gallery that says "exit path", and click on the bottom-right arrows.

So watcha think? Should I stick with Wix, finish this site, or do something entirely different?

No joke, that's pretty cool. I'd continue it.

Either you've learned a LOT of html since we last met or there are a lot of site options for this.

Looks pretty neat though. I just want to know the level of difficulty it would be to recreate something like this before I give final judgment though. Yea, I rate stuff based on how hard they are to re-make too, sorry d:

@Everyone who thanked me: Thanks, as I said it's still in BETA so I need to finish the links, site map, embeds...oh, you get the picture.

@Power Ranger: Brother's idea.

@Killerman99: Apparently, yes, there are a heck of a lot of site options for this. With it, I can create custom widgets, headers, etc. Lately, they've added HTML, so I kicked Weebly out the door and moved in Wix. It wouldn't be too hard to remake all this. You just have to put in some time and effort. No code required, heh.

Fortunately, updates come in every few weeks (maybe two or three weeks if you're curious). So, yeah, I'm fixing up some major issues-maybe a name change, as well.

EDIT: Oh, and this was originally a test site (sort of a WYSIWYG kinda thing) to show off the features and what I can do. I strongly recommend having a fast computer handy, since this site is entirely made of Flash.

Edited Edit: By the way, I can make it bigger, but I'm a bit too lazy.

It seems all the pics are in the game section. Am I the only one seeing this?

Nope. Good catch! I'm doing some more improvements for the Beta 2.0. This time around, you'll see some links (finally), a larger size since I was working on this from a laptop (now a desktop AND laptop @_@) and maybe some videos and games to top it off.

So, yeah. Don't try to mess with the links, now. I'll post when everything will be ready...

PROGRESS REPORT
--Thursday, August 19: Beta Version 2.0. Links are up. You can now view some sample photos, a video, and a game. Ironing out the last of the links in the upcoming days... Also, there's a cool music player in the form of a sketch speaker at the top of the Home Page.

Trying to put the final workings in the pages, as well as some non-gimmicky stuff.
