The Paradox
Deifying the false worship that has devoured the world,
It knows no bounds.
It takes from all, and gives to none
Crying, we shrivel in our entrapments,
wounds, unhealing.
And as we draw our final breath,
we will remember the truth we once lost.
As gray tinges the edge of our vision,
and as our heart slows,
we mourn for the truth we once lost.
