So what do you guys think about kinect?

I just thought this was hilarious; plus, I hope this happens to Kinect so I can laugh and point fingers at Microsoft.

Are me and nwinter the only ones who know anything about gaming in this topic? Copying=flattery. As in, good idea, but you suck. I'll make it, and it will be awesome.

Gr33n. When you copy something. You take their Idea. Even if it's a great one, and Put your own spin on it.

Saying Sony ripped off Nintendo= saying your precious xbox ripped off sony. Hows THAT for a change of heart?

A LOT, and I mean A LOT people think Xbox is better than ps3 because of halo.
For the record halo isnt that good at all. I got a deeper opinion over Halo Reach this weekend and it still doesnt appeal all that "amazing" everyone says it is.

People like it since it's got Xbox Live, exclusives, an extremely slight edge in graphics with anti-aliasing (it's not a huge advantage, so 360 users shouldn't brag about it), and a handful of better cross-platform titles like Bayonetta. There's more, but I'm on an iPod...

However, PS3 has more features, equally awesome content, better media experience, Blu-Ray, pretty much the same graphics, Move, 3D games, epic exclusives, and HD-everything. Way better deal, IMO.

I have it, it's fun, but not as fun as it was led out too be.

I agree with Newlemming, I'm thinking Wii will sue Xbox for copying their idea. Might not be a good idea for Xbox to continue with this, Wii may win the battle against Xbox and tell them to remove the Kinect completly off the market.

PS3 has the eyetoy, not wii.

The bad thing that I heard about this game system, was the radiation that it sends to your body, which can cause cancer. But it is pretty cool

Kinect is different from the wii...somewhat.

It is designed for different game genres, not only sports related games. It requires a no remote, thank god. I broke my TV once when the strap broke. Instead, Kinect uses a motion sensor and a camera to detect your bodily movements and puts it into the game. The physics look fantastic, as shown by the gameplay videos so pretty much whatever you are doing in your game room, an animated character is doing on your 360.

And no, I don't believe playing kinect will give you cancer. It's just a rumor

You are comparing it to the wii. And wii wasn't even designed for sports genres. And what have they copied? They came first, and had all their ideas ahead of time.

What do you think Wii is known for? Why do retirement home buy the wii to keep the old active? If wii didn't involve moving around, THEN NO ONE WOULD BUY IT. It would just be a shit version of a 360 or PS3. Me and my friends actually have a wii. Why did we buy it? Because we felt like using something new for a change, instead of the controller

Wii. Best known for the constant best-sellers on the shelves. AKA Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Pokemon, Metroid, Donkey Kong, etc. And yes, it is someting different. Because it is constantly higest in (game) sales. Not systems, games.I got one too, for those little gems hidden among the garbage.

Wii is dead now. Sales for the console has dropped down to almost nothing.

CoD among other games have had more sales in a single month than those nintendo games you mentioned. MW2, MW, Halo 3, and GTA broke the world records when released, proving that they are the TRUE best sellers for our generation. Nintendo has dominated for the past generations but now it's microsoft and sony's turn.

I suppose those mario games are fun for classics or when your feelin' bored but spamming titles didn't help very much. I can probably count up to a hundred titles nintendo released for just Mario.

You have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. Console sales for Wii have #2 spot, PS3 #1, but Wii is catching up. Wii will always have a huge advantage with the younger crowds. MW didn't sell much. Halo 3 and MW2 did. CTA hasn't broken a single record ever. I believe both MW2 and Halo 3 broke most titles sold in a week (FPS) but I haven't checked for months.
