First topic message reminder :

Think of this as a general discussion for the General Discussion. Since I'm getting pretty tired of posts that aren't supposed to be there (i.e. Usertitle Requests, areas where they members say "Please Don't Comment" etc.), I guess this could be a place where to do so...

For instance, say you're home from school and really need to let off some steam. Don't do it in an area for Forum Games; just do it here! Have something to rant about? Here as well. What about a quick topic (such as an opinion) that wouldn't be fitting for an entirely new thread. Right here! Really, if you think about it, this could be a pretty active area for new members and veterans alike.

Just to let you know, this isn't meant to be an area to replace every thread. For instance, if you have a question that you want to ask everyone on the forum, send it to the Help area. Also, don't think of this place as a spam haven. More of an area for quick jokes, serious discussion, short advice, talking about current events, and regular hanging out with friends.

Russia vs US would be a close match in terms of nuclear power. Honestly though, US would have almost no allies in a war. NATO is breaking up and to be honest, the most Canadians can do is provide the soldiers with free waffles and maple syrup for breakfast. Japan would probably jump at the chance to retaliate at the US.

Oh well, Obama would never start a nuclear war

No they don't have a laser. However, the US military, as well as other countries, do have a branch of the navy that specializes in defence. These "Aegis" ships shoot down missiles or targets with radars and guided weapons.

Those will still let radiation spread. The missiles have to be surprisingly close (not too close) for them to blow it down.

Plus, we can't try blowing something up that's flying 200 mph in the sky. We'll miss...a lot.
