"I woke up and realized it was my birthday. I went down to the kitchen, expecting my wife to give me a hug, maybe a present. She just kept cooking. Then the lids came down. Surely they will remember dads birthday, but noooooooo.
I headed off to work, feeling very depressed. I got to my office and my secretary wished me a happy birthday. I felt better already. She asked me if I would go out to lunch later, and I said yes.
After lunch she asked if we could just spend the day together since it was so nice. We went for a walk in the park and had some ice cream. She then took me back to her place.
She told me to wait in the living room while she got something inthe bedroom. Then, ten minutes later, came my wife and kids, along with my best friends, carrying a cake.
And I just sat there.
