Bullying

Has anyone heard the story about this kid who comitted suicide after being bullied?

Well, his dad came to our school yesterday to talk to us about him. His dad is a very strong person because if my son(if i had one) did something like that I would be shocked and blame myself for a very long time.

I personally find bullying disgusting. Noone has ever tried to bully me because I'm a good three inches taller than anyone else, but I'm constantly trying to stop the picking on children. It's repulsive and pointless.

I've personally never seen it, cyber or otherwise. I think, while there is a problem, it is also blown out of proportion by the media, like everything else.

Overrated. Cyber Bulling = Trolling 90% of the time. The other time it's generally the kid's fault for being annoying.

Bullies always have a good reason they have to lay down the law, who else is going to teach those nerds to get popular ?

Bullying is just a part of our human nature. It's something that we can't stop. I'm sure everyone has been bullied once in a while. Weather its people spearding false rumors about you or just the way you are. You shouldn't let people stop you from doing what you want just because they say something stupid. I just don't pay attention to it if people ever say anything about me. Like i'll give you guys an example (True Story).



I had no date to the dance, so I go by myself and I meet this girl. We hook up. My one friend gets jealous and starts saying random crap to her and she buys into it. He was jealous because I was talking to her and he went out with her once. Even though she regrets it. I was going to fight the kid, but at the end I knew he wasn't worth it. Also, the fact he didn't want to fight me and the girl didn't want me to fight him and I promised her that.


If your talking about bullying like people actually hurting you, stand up for yourself and punch them back. If your not strong enough, then get people to back you up.

Cyber Bullying: idc everyone is annoying online

Verbal Bullying: idc if it get serious, just own them with a comeback then walkaway or plainly say "fuck off"

Physical bullying: never really seen it. Only real time to get an adult if you are wimpy like me.

On the suicide note: I've heard of things like that happening, but I think the only thing that happened in my area anytime recently was like a year or 2 ago, some girl gave her boyfriend nude pictures of herself and then he sold them. She commited suicide. I think she was from Sycamore? (anyone who lives in West Chester hear about this?)

^^ Yeah thats what happened. But she killed herself because of what the kids said. They made jokes and stuff.

Yea thats called Sexting or however you spell it. This is funny you made this point up. Since some guy actually showed us a power point on this. Also, he said you could go to jail for doing it. Lol.

Yeah, we got a huge lecture on it. It actually isn't illegal in my county, so I'm not sure what my principal was on. But yeah, it still wasn't that bad, she was just embarrassed.

I agree. It's only TV and movies honestly. I mean, on cartoons there is a bully stealing lunch money. I have NEVER seen anyone steal someone's lunch money.

Meh. Whenever that happens to me I really just give a single fuck.
Only when it gets physical do things have to get on the go, but that usually never happens

Exactly. People like CNN hype this kind of stuff to death. I've seen it before (experienced it, too), but I think it's calmed down quite a bit.

People now realize it's no longer cool to hurt someone, and as a result, people are naturally nice.

I'm sure we have all bullied someone sometime in our life in someway or another ^^

But yeah, serious bullying is an issue and needs to be stopped, although these serious cases are quite rare. Publicity just makes it seem more of an issue than is really is.
