You want to boil a two-minute egg. If you only have a three-minute timer (hourglass), a four-minute timer and a five-minute timer can you boil the egg for only two minutes? Answer: Set the 3 and 5 timer. When the 3 runs out, put the egg in. When the five runs out, 2 minutes have elapsed. Solved By Darkprism

I cannot take credit for these riddles. A friend told me them.

2-either use a clock or set the other timers for less time.

3- the one that is not a dime is a quarter. The unmentioned one IS a dime.

I o u 100 since you first quess was wrong.

But the first wasn't. You see, a four minute time can be set halfway. So can a five, although it is more difficult. Also, just use a clock. Two minutes easy.

I can't take credit for it, google helped me, but I know th answer to the first one.

The first one is fire. I didn't get any help on this one. I just thought about it for 30 seconds.

On the second one, do you have to use all the timers?

1. Fire

2. Set five and three. When the three runs out, put the egg in.

I'm guessing no.

Answer to Riddle 2:
Once the water is boiling, turn the three-minute timer and five-minute timer over. When the three-minute timer runs out, put the egg in the boiling water. When the five-minute timer runs out and two minutes have gone by and it is time take the egg out of the water. I think you don't need the 4 minute one..?

For the second one, use none of the timers. Count to 120.
