Which is better Xbox 360 or Playstation 3

It's better than having your game continue when you cant. When I played with pawnman my controller died and halo kept going online.

Graphics

Show me one game on the 360 that can outdo titles like GoW III and Uncharted 2. Easy answer: nothing. PS3 wins the graphic battle.

Design

The 360 is a fingerprint-magnet and the hard drive isn't user-replaceable, meaning you can't put in your own hard drive. PS3 is quite the opposite. Win.

Motion Control

Kinect sucks and everybody knows it. Just go to yaybuttons.com and you'll find a bunch of reasons buttons are important. Besides, look at it this way: if you push a button, you know you fired a submachine gun. If you do so much to flex your index finger, you could shoot by accident, and the enemy knows where you are. Fail. Move wins.

Value

For $299, you can get a piece of crapware that is underpowered, has inferior graphics, and has a bunch of preteens playing Halo; which can be annoying. Or, you can get a PS3 that has epic graphics, HD everything, best motion control on the market, and games that beat out the Xbox tenfold.

PlayStation 3 wins. Game over, Xbox.

What else? Blu-Ray, a ton of HD features, custom "skins" for the XMB, etc.

Plus, you can take "it's been around longer" off. It doesn't mean a thing in gaming...

SCC, you're stupid. Scratch out COD, money system( literally the same almost) and it's been around longer out. What's that leave? A couple of eased up Ames and a lie about the community of six year olds playing it.

Careful what you say and were you get your facts bud.

Although Xbox (360) has been out longer...Sony has been in the game production for consuls longer than Microsoft. And servers are much better on ps3 then xbox. news flash... halo isnt that great. and gears of war...im pretty sure you can get it for ps3 as well. (I think not sure, research will be done)

I think I've already said this but....

If you want to waste your life on only FPS's and rage online then get a 360.

If you want a console with variety in games, alot of added stuff like blu-ray, and have a good online community, then get a PS3.

My opinion is that the 360 is mainly for FPS addicts.....aka no lifes. thats why the 360 sells primarily in America. Most gamers from other countries do not like the 360 because it has nothing good but FPS's. This is also why PS3 has more sales worldwide. PS3 HAS MORE VARIETY IN GAMES.

Sommewhat off topic, but I recently played CODMW2 with a friend after playing MAG a bunch. It wasn't even fun. The best way to describe it is as a "FPS ARENA". I couldn't take 5 steps without dying. The maps are so small and its just a kill fest. Fact: In CODMW2 you have much less hp so basically whoever sees/shoots the other person fisrt kills them. This means CAMPERS.

The PS3 is more expensive (not too much more) but the Xbox was the first system I got, and its less expensive. The PS3 does have a little more than the Xbox, like Blu-Ray, and HD. I also like the Xbox online community,I don't really like the PlayStation Network,I prefer Xbox Live for my online game play.

Also to add,the Xbox has better games, like Gears Of War, Dead Rising, and Left 4 Dead.

About which have better communities / games, it's just your opinion. One person might love Halo and another might hate it. Or one person may love GoW and another can't stand it. My advice would be: if you don't like the game, THEN DON'T GET IT! So yeah, both consoles have good games IMO. I like GoW and Halo both. I prefer Xbox though, since the vast majority of my friends have Xbox and not PS3 so we can play together.

1.Maybe you just suck at MW2, ever think of that? I've played MW2 for like a year and I never have this problem...as long as you don't rush blindly like a retard I'm pretty sure it's possible to do good.

2. Almost every shooter (3rd person/FPS/etc.) has campers. Some maps are big BTW and (if the maps were huge) the game would be boring if you run around for 5 minutes and not find any enemies.

3. Yeah "Modern Warfare" is based on RL military (Or at least it tries). It's more realistic if you have "less" HP...if you get shot, you should die. Normally whoever has the fastest reaction time gets the kill, which I think is realistic.

Xbox 360 is way better

/topic revived. We're continuing a discussion on the "Should I?" topic. As of now, if you were to get either console for motion control, get the Wii.

"But Kinect/Move has more features!!!" Still. I have a friend who traded his Wii and got the Kinect bundle, and if he just wanted Kinect, he got ripped off.

Here is my analogy for PS3 vs. 360

Two men are running a marathon. One man does not have a lot of endurance, but can sprint a bit in the begining (which is terrible for long distance running. The other man is a well rounded runner and is sure to win. Unfortunately, the well rounded runner is late to the starting line. He also forgets to tie his shoes in his haste. He trips up a couple of times in the begining but eventually stops to tie them. 7 miles in, roughly 1/4 of the race. The worse runner is at the 7 mile while the better runner is at the 5 mile mark. He is gaining on the man in the lead after his struggles end. Everyone cheers for the man in first even though he just had a better start and is now exhausted for sprinting 7 miles. Later, the two men are just about neck and neck and the 1/2 marathon mark. They both decide to take a quick break. The man who has used up all of his energy decides to steal the other man's water bottle. The well rounded man now has no water bottle and is forced to steal a water bottle from a man who is selling them in a nice nearby neighborhood. The man he steals the water bottle from is quite a successful man, but is ironically a terrible sales person. Back to the race, both of the men with stolen water bottles press on but of course the well rounded man is now beating the man who is still exhausted.

I like the Xbox 360 better because of the Arcade. Since I'm a cheapscape, I go with the PS3.
