Game Questions

Not sure if this goes in the help or gaming section but I am leaving it here.

Ok. Well I have a DS.
I want to play Final Fantasy. I am new to it.
Where do I start. Or which game do I start with.

I also want some recommendations to good download and play games.
And finally, some overall good DS games.

Really, all the worthwhile Final Fantasy titles are on the consoles. You can emulate them, or just get remakes on console stores.

Other than that, there's no real place you can start, since the entire story is different from game-to-game, but I do reccommend the first two, FF7, Crisis Core, FFX, FFX-2, FFXIII. I'm new, as well, but I know enough to get around...

Second, for what platform do you want download titles? iPod? Xbox/PS3? PC?

Finally:
-Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
-Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
-The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks
-Mario Kart DS
-Advance Wars
-Star Wars: Battlefront--Elite Squadron

For DS.
DS has certain games in which you only need one cartidge to play with 2-8 people depending on the game.
I.E. Mario Party DS.
You just need 1 game and the rest just need to be a nintendo DS.

You should start with these games brotatoe chip.


1. Animal Crossing
2. Need for Speed the new one forgot name.
3. Drawn to Life, seems lame but is extremely fun.

Super Scribblenauts as well. Sure it's childish, but you get to mess around and do stuff like make an object battle another object.

For final fantasy, it's too late, unless you played the first game, nothing will make sense. Nah, just kidding.
As for good single-card play, I'd reccomend mario kart and lego star wars 2. I know it seems stupid, but they're actually pretty fun. Also,
worms open warfare 2.
Best ds games... hmmm...
Anything square enix, (kingdom hearts 358/2 days, etc), mario kart, drawn to life, worms open warfare 2. The sims are good enough. Super mario 64 ds is great, but avoid anything star wars unless its lego.

Super Mario DS is good for download play.

Single Player you can get mario kart, any pokemon game, Contra is fun.

Any Battlefront game is fun to play if you play with friends over Wi-Fi. Avoid The Force Unleashed (especially II)
for DS, though...

Don't got a DS but I borrowed my friend's DS once. Fire Emblem strategy game was pretty decent, I liked the storyline.

The ds has plenty of amazing games. New super mario bros hasn't been mentioned yet. Also, everything neverwinter said. Usually, you should trust him. He'll be right.
