Okay, sure this is like two months late, but I just posted this to share it with you guys/gals. Anywho, a white PS3 Slim has been out in Japan for awhile now, and it looks really good (at least to me) so I decided to show you guys some pics and anticipate for an American release...

My Thoughts: It makes me wanna get FFXIII even sooner...when I get some money...

I have the black slim that has 120 gigs... its only a 40 gig difference but i don't think im gonna use all 120 gigs n e way...

but it does look cool XD

Anyhow, the only thing I'm concerned of is if that plug will work with USA ones. On a side note, you can do a lot with 40 gigs. Plenty of media and whatnot...

yes, I know you can do alot with 40 gigs but stil, im not going out to buy this if it's only a 40 gig diff... i would consider getting a new ps3 "albino" XD if it had like 500 gigs... which they do have a black slim 500 gig..

@Gr33n: I just might get it with the money. The only problem is that it's only available in East Asia (Japan, South Korea, etc). Although, I want both the iTouch and the PS3 (expensive, expensive, expensive...)

Dude, that much space it's as much as a computer! Also, I don't think any PlayStation comes equipped with 500 GB. What you probably saw was a ripoff. =/

However, you could just insert a 500 GB hard drive yourself and it'll have the same effect.

EDIT: Simple way to upgrade your PS3 Slim:

Note--this'll only work financially if you have the low-end model, in this case being the 120 GB model.

1. Take out the 120 GB hard drive and sell it. You can market it as "Mint-Condition PS3 Slim 120 GB Hard Drive" or something like that.

2. Use the money wisely. Think. 500-1 TB Hard Drives are coming in at relatively low prices. Find the best deal and use it to your advantage.

3. Buy. Again, if you find anything lower than 120 GB or is just a few gigs higher, walk away. You'll save yourself from ripping yourself off.

5. Skip Step 4. It wants to be alone for awhile...

I got a ps3 last Christmas and my father, who bought it went all out to buy the best ps3 their was. I don't remember what all he got but it was the best thing he could buy at the time. It was a black one, pretty thick had two buttons left and right near the thing you put the disk into the ps3 at. Below it had the two buttons, hovering you're hand over it would allow the disk to come out which I thought was pretty cool since I live in a dry state. So I would get shocked alot lul. And the other one was the power button. But I don't have much games for it, I'll have to get black ops when it comes out. But my tag or w/e it is called, is pacofajita if you peoples want to add me.

I may end up getting a white one eventually. Wasn't planning on it, but if mine crashes, I will. I played my PS2 to death. Literally. I expect no less with my PS3; I play them way too much.

lol gr33n thats not a bad thing. I do the same thing. Ill do the same if my ps3 ever crashes, from playing Black ops too much lol
