PostSubject: Body language & Facial readings   Sun Jun 12, 2011 9:31 pm

I've recently gotten attracted to the study of body language and facial readings. Was just wondering what are your "facial readings"?

http://www.2knowmyself.com/face_reading/learn_face_reading

Random website, I know...but pretty cool Very Happy

My "facial readings":
Forehead: Straight meaning slow thinker but actually very intelligent

Eye to Eyebrow: Big distance meaning "wait and see" approach

Lip Size: Big Lips meaning that person is very talkative

Lip Lines: Straight lip line pointing downwards meaning a very pessimistic person

Distance Between Two Eyes: Large eye distance meaning person focuses on big picture but has trouble concentrating to details

Nose Shape and Size: The Helper's nose and nose profile going up meaning the person likes to help people and trusts too much.

Chin Shape: Round chin meaning the person is friendly and not harsh nor aggressive.

Eyebrow Shape: Angled eyebrow meaning The authority seeker

Height of Ear: High set ears meaning this person has the ability to absorb information well.

Face Shape: Thin face meaning this person is confident by experience not nature but has a fear of things.

Ear Shape: Big ears meaning this person is a very good listener.

Ear Position: Forward balance meaning this person likes to be the center of attention and focuses on the future.

Teeth Position: Long front teeth meaning this person is very stubborn

Facial Lines: Two vertical lines and grief lines meaning this person experienced a lot of grief and is also hard on themself

Protruding Cheek Bones: Yes meaning the person is full of courage and willing to try something new

Face Proportions: Lower proportion meaning the person likes to take physical risks

Eye Depth: Neutral meaning the person has a balanced approach when hearing something new.

From personal experience i can tell you this stuff isnt dead on and is actually usually wrong. While some stuff can be told, like if a person is lying, most of this stuff if generalities.

I hope you realize the structure of the human body has nothing to do with the state of mind.

It's pretty cool though and fun to talk about! D:

Facel fetures dont say how you act. Body language yes, and giving "First Impressions" has alot to do with it as well.

Or telling if somone is lieing. just look at little things like twitchy fingers or nose or somthing.

Yeah, and even obvious things like if someone snaps at you or is not acting like themselves will tell you they're lying.

Here's a slightly off-topic question: have you guys ever seen L.A Noire's interrogation walkthroughs? The first few levels show how hilariously easy it is to tell if someone is lying; they'll roll they're eyes everywhere and look absolutely scared.

When someone changes the subject it's obvious they are either:

1. Lying

2. Uncomfartable with the question

3. PMSing
